Hardy (foot) will begin non-baseball related workouts Monday, MASN Sports reports.

This is the first step for Hardy, who has been out since May 1 with a fracture. He will eventually join the team in Baltimore next week and a rehab assignment could come soon after that. In the meantime, most of Hardy's at-bats are going to Ryan Flaherty while Manny Machado has stepped in at shortstop.
