Hardy (foot) will be out for six-to-eight weeks due to a hairline fracture in his foot, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hardy fouled a ball off his foot in the fourth inning of Sunday's contest, and although the injury was initially labeled as a foot contusion, a CT scan revealed something much worse. He's expected to miss six-to-eight weeks due to the ailment, which would put him on pace for a return sometime in mid- to late-June. Ryan Flaherty is expected to be called up to replace his spot on the roster, although Paul Janish is also an option to be called up in the near future.
