Hardy (foot) went 2-for-3 with two singles and played six innings Tuesday for Double-A Bowie.

Tuesday marked Hardy's first rehab appearance and he should be able to return within a week. Hardy will need to show he can play in the field for a full game before he has a shot of being activated, but that should not be far off. He has been out since May 1 when he fouled a ball off his foot.
