Gindl signed a minor league deal with the Blue Jays on Friday that includes an invitation to spring training, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet reports. Gindl spent most of 2014 in Triple-A, batting .227/.310/.354 with eight home runs and 32 RBI in 362 at-bats. he was given a couple chances in the majors over the past couple seasons and didn't impress the Brewers enough to keep him on the 40-man. He will have receive a chance at grabbing the backup outfield spot with the Blue Jays if he can put together a strong spring training.
