Giants sent RHP Jake Dunning outright to Triple-A Fresno. Dunning was designated for assignment by San Francisco earlier this week and passed through waivers without getting claimed. The 25-year-old righty owns an uninspiring 5.88 ERA in 21 appearances this season at Triple-A.
