Giants placed LHP Jose Mijares on the restricted list. Mijares will be activated on Tuesday, but since he's spent the allotted seven days on the bereavement list, the Giants had to move him to the restricted list for a day. The reliever has been in Venezuela following the passing of his grandmother.
