Giants beat writer Hank Schulman believes the team will target Ramon Hernandez in an August waiver trade. Apparently Hernandez was the only catcher Giants general manager Brian Sabean wanted to add before the deadline. The Reds are slowely slipping out of contention, so look for a trade to go down with San Francisco if no N.L. team outside of Philadelphia and Atlanta claims the backstop when he gets placed on waivers.
