The Twins have a pair of roster openings with Nik Turley being optioned after a rough start Thursday and Ehire Adrianza landing on the disabled list. Minnesota will need to clear a spot on the 40-man roster before officially bringing up Gee, however. Gee has four major league appearances this season, notching a 4.15 ERA and a 1.77 WHIP across 13.0 innings with the Rangers. He has the ability to fill in as a spot starter but could also take on a long relief role.
