Garrett Jones hit a two-run homer off Carlos Martinez in the Marlins' 5-4 win over the Cardinals on Friday. After agreeing to a two-year, $7.5 million contract in December, Jones is slated to be the Marlins' cleanup hitter, at least against righties. The Marlins may give him a chance to start against lefties as well, but Jeff Baker is the much better choice to play first on those days.
