FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal reports that the Diamondbacks have been involved in trade dialogue involving Jason Kubel. There's been plenty of speculation about the future of Justin Upton, but Rosenthal hears that the D-Backs has had at least as much trade talk about Kubel. The 30-year-old outfielder batted .253/.327/.506 with 30 homers and an .833 OPS this past season and is under contract for $7.5 million next season with a $7.5 million mutual option for 2014.
