Former teammate Brian Dozier told St. Paul Pioneer Press reporter Mike Berardino that Ryan Doumit is "not catching anymore" after "talking it over with his family." Doumit suffered a concussion in August and didn't catch a single game for the Twins after returning. The Twins dealt the 32-year-old to the Braves in exchange for Sean Gilmartin last month. Doumit will serve as a backup at the first base and corner outfield positions in Atlanta.
