Fernandez struck out nine batters and allowed one run over seven innings in Monday's rehab start for High-A Jupiter, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports. Fernandez threw 90 pitches, allowing just four hits along the way. He reported no pain or discomfort after the outing, so he remains on track to make his season debut July 2 against the Giants. Fernandez has a 3.20 ERA, 1.95 FIP and 25:4 K:BB through 19.2 innings (four games) with High-A Jupiter. His final rehab outing is scheduled for Saturday with Double-A Jacksonville.
