EDGE Analysis
Though Kershaw's return was the story of the night, Fernandez stole the spotlight and again showed why he is a top-flight fantasy starter. After being touched up for six earned runs in his last start, the Marlins ace struck out 14 batters, tying a career high, in a dominating performance against the Dodgers. He now has 238 strikeouts on the season to go with a 2.90 ERA and a 1.07 WHIP. His 167.1 innings thrown remain a concern, but it appears he will continue to start as long as Miami is in the playoff hunt.
