ESPN's Buster Olney reports that the Phillies have reached out to other teams to let them know Michael Young and others are available via trade. General manager Ruben Amaro has been forced to waive the white flag after his Phillies dropped their seventh straight game Saturday. It's obviously the right move, as they have no chance to catch the Braves or become real contenders for a Wild Card berth. Olney notes that Cliff Lee's name was not included among the list of players Amaro put on the block. Young has drawn interest from the Yankees, the Red Sox and Rangers, though a reunion in Texas reportedly won't happen.
