Chicago White Sox infielder Elvis Andrus (oblique) left the team on May 27 to begin a minor-league rehab assignment with Triple-A Charlotte. Manager Pedro Grifol said that as long as all goes well, Andrus should rejoin the big-league club at some point during their June 2-4 home series against the Detroit Tigers this weekend.
