Dunn will bat second Friday against the Rangers. It's a rather peculiar lineup choice by manager Bob Melvin, especially considering Dunn is 0-for-8 in his career against Friday's starter Nick Tepesch. However, the likes of Sam Fuld and Josh Reddick have failed to provide much spark from the two-hole in recent days, so Melvin will get creative and move Dunn up to the No. 2 spot, where he's logged just one at-bat since 2008.
