Although it remains unlikely that Drew will be back on the field before the end of the regular season, the infielder has been able to take cuts and participate in fielding drills in recent days. The main problem plaguing Drew is that he hasn't been able to do any running, and unless that changes in the immediate future, it seems as though his chances of coming back before the playoffs are all but over.
