Dodgers acquired UTIL Skip Schumaker from the Cardinals for INF Jake Lemmerman. Schumaker's playing time in St. Louis tailed off near the end of the 2012 season and he wasn't going to get more use in 2013, so the Cardinals found a better spot for him. He'll share time at second base out in Los Angeles with Mark Ellis while also serving as depth at all three outfield spots. Schumaker is a .305/.359/.403 carer hitter against right-handed pitching.
