Diamondbacks placed OF Jason Kubel on the 15-day disabled list with a strained left quad. Kubel suffered the strain on Tuesday and hadn't made enough improvement by this weekend. He'll look to return to action by the end of April. Cody Ross was activated from the disabled list in a corresponding move.
