Diamondbacks manager Kirk Gibson indicated Friday that Jason Kubel (knee) won't return to the lineup until Sunday. He's been dealing with soreness in his left knee for the past week, and the team wants to play it cautiously and let him rest, rather than risking further injury. At this point, it doesn't appear to be something that would put his availability for Opening Day in jeopardy.
