Diamondbacks general manager Kevin Towers said Thursday that the club will not trade Jason Kubel this offseason. That was the assumption following the Justin Upton deal, as the D'Backs planned to trade one or the other in order to solve their "problem" of having too many outfielders. Kubel, who batted .253/.327/.506 with 30 homers and an .833 OPS this past season, will return as the regular in left field.
