Diamond signed a minor league contract with the Rays on Monday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports. Diamond spent all of 2014 in Triple-A, but didn't have promising results. He finished his stints with over a 6.50 ERA and 1.60 WHIP in each. He'll likely serve a depth role with the Rays in 2015.
