Denorfia signed a minor league contract with the Giants on Thursday, Andrew Baggarly reports.

Denorfia will first head to extended spring training before joining the Triple-A team. The 34-year-old veteran played in 103 games for the Cubs in 2015, hitting .269/.319/.373 with three home runs and 18 RBI and could serve as outfield depth for the Giants at some point this season.
