De Aza's absence comes as no surprise, given that he was only in the lineup for four of the previous 10 games, and the Orioles are facing left-handed Mark Buehrle on Tuesday. De Aza started the year on the better side of a platoon, but he now seems to be more of a part-time player, as he's struggled since the beginning of the season.
