Davis was released from his minor-league deal with the Rangers on Sunday, and it didn't take long for the power-hitting first baseman to find a new home. The 29-year-old owned a .351 wOBA through 39 games at Triple-A Round Rock this year, and will provide New York with much-needed corner infield depth. Look for a corresponding roster move to be announced in the near future.
