David Murphy went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer and two runs scored Friday against the Rockies. Nelson Cruz and A.J. Pierzynski also homered for the Rangers. Murphy is hitting a cool .333 (18-for-54) in 20 games this spring and should be worth using in most mixed leagues this season. The 31-year-old outfielder has averaged 14 home runs and 10 stolen bases per season dating back to 2008.
