David Lennon of New York Newsday reports that the Mets will meet with the representatives for pitchers Freddy Garcia, Johan Santana and infielder Cesar Izturis on Tuesday. Garcia and Santana are viewed stopgap options for the rotation while Izturis could potentially fill the utility infielder role vacated by the recently non-tendered Justin Turner. All three players should come at a reasonable price.
