Cuddyer (wrist), who was potentially going to start Friday against Manny Banuelos, may not see a start in the Atlanta series due to Banuelos landing on the disabled list and the Mets only facing right-handed starters, ESPN New York reports.
EDGE Analysis
Manager Terry Collins hopes to get Cuddyer some at-bats against the Braves, so that he has a bit of action before possibly starting a game or two against the Marlins' lefty starters in the following series. That usage will depend on if Cuddyer is still bothered by the pain in his wrist, which had a cortisone shot Sunday.
