Crisp received a one-game suspension Friday after throwing his bat in the direction of an umpire in Thursday's game, Jake Kaplan of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Crisp tossed his bat and helmet in the direction of umpire D.J. Rayburn after a called strikeout in the fifth inning of Thursday's game against the Astros. Crisp said following the game that he didn't intend to hit Rayburn and he would be seeking him out to apologize. Either way, Crisp looks to miss a game with a possible fine due to his actions. The 36-year-old is batting .243 with 38 runs, 37 RBI, and five stolen bases this year.
