Crisp will avoid the disabled list for now, but manager Bob Melvin said the neck injury Crisp is currently dealing with is similar to the setback that cost him 25 games last season, so it would not be a surprise if he misses more time. Sam Fuld and Craig Gentry figure to handle the left field duties until Crisp returns to action.
