Crisp will be on the bench for a second straight game and could begin to lose playing time with the Athletics experimenting with Jake Smolinski as their regular center fielder. The team still has Billy Butler around at the DH spot and could give Danny Valencia more looks in that role as well, leaving fewer starts left over for Crisp to pick up.
