Crisp (hamstring) will hit in the batting cage Wednesday but is unlikely to receive any at-bats in the game, Susan Slugger of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
The injury isn't expected to keep the veteran outfielder out of any regular season contests, but the Athletics appear to be holding him out of spring games in order to get him as healthy as possible for the regular season. That being said, Crisp is still expected to only play a part-time role to start the season, which could give him more days off than normal regardless of whether he's hurt or not.
