Crisp (elbow) could rejoin the Athletics in early May, as he's a week or two ahead of schedule in his recovery from arthroscopic surgery, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports. Crisp posted on his instagram account Tuesday that he'll join the High-A Stockton Ports on an upcoming seven-game homestand spanning from Friday to next Thursday. While recent reports have hinted that Crisp is a bit ahead of schedule, this is the most encouraging news to date, as it now seems quite likely he'll join the A's before the middle of May.
