Crain (biceps) was limited to playing catch Friday, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports. Crain was scratched from his start Wednesday due to soreness, and he was initially scheduled to pitch Friday. However, that soreness is persisting, so he continues to have a very limited workload. The White Sox will shut Crain down over the next few days in hopes of avoiding further injury.
