Crain (biceps) threw 30 pitches in a live batting practice Monday, and will throw again later in the week, Scott Merkin of MLB.com reports. There's still no exact timetable for a return, but Crain appears to be progressing well and is getting closer to being ready for game action. If he is able to return soon, Crain should be able to earn a spot in the big league club's bullpen.
