Crain (biceps) has made three appearances for the White Sox's rookie-level club, recording five strikeouts in 2.1 innings, MLB.com's Scott Merkin reports. It's the first competitive game action for Crain since July 2013, when an All-Star season was interrupted by a biceps injury that ultimately required surgery last spring. He's battled a long road back to recovery, but finally seems to be coming around of late, though it's still likely that he's several weeks away from contributing for the White Sox. The team signed him on a minor-league deal this offseason, so expectations aren't likely high for Crain.
