Manager Gabe Kapler said Posey (thumb) could be activated to start Monday's game against the Dodgers, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

The skipper added that Posey has made considerable progress with his recovery in the last few days. As a catcher, he'll need his left thumb to be mostly pain-free to play, but he appears no more than a couple days from being activated.
