Correia was charged with three runs (one earned) in 5.1 innings Sunday against the Nationals in Game 1 of a doubleheader, giving up seven hits and three walks while striking four. He had struggled in his last two starts, and while Sunday's performance was by no means spectacular and he did take the loss, Correia at least held his own. The 34-year-old was undone by poor defense from outfielder Jeff Francoeur in the fifth inning, who misplayed a line drive that ultimately led to the Nationals' first run. It's uncertain if Correia will stick in the rotation upon Chad Billingsley's return from the DL.
