Corporan underwent left thumb surgery Friday, Jeff Wilson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

Corporan missed about six weeks during the season with a left thumb sprain, but was able to return in September. The ailment was apparently still persisting at the end of the season, but the 31-year-old should be back in time for the start of spring training.
