Baltimore Orioles outfielder Colby Rasmus (hip) could play in extended spring training games soon, according to manager Buck Showalter. He began swinging the bat last month and has made enough progress to face live pitching soon. Rasmus has been out since April 7, but when healthy he'll be a platoon option against right-handed pitchers. However, he's not likely going to be an option in fantasy leagues.
