Baltimore Orioles outfielder Colby Rasmus (hip) has been reinstated from the 60-day disabled list on Thursday. In a corresponding move, the team optioned outfielder Joey Rickard down to Triple-A Norfolk. They also transferred left-handed pitcher Richard Bleier (shoulder) to the 60-day DL. Rasmus should be avoided in most leagues for the time being.
