Cingrani (oblique) threw a 15-pitch bullpen session Tuesday, his first such session since going on the DL on April 21, MLB.com's Mark Sheldon reports.

Cingrani might be close to beginning a rehab assignment - the Reds will determine that path shortly. "He threw a 15-pitch bullpen with no restriction," manager Bryan Price said. "The ball came out of his hand good. He didn't have any issues. So he'll progress and throw another bullpen on Friday."
