Cingrani (oblique) has started his throwing program, but he's still feeling some soreness and as a result isn't yet throwing from a mound, MLB.com's Mark Sheldon reports.

Cingrani's progress has been purposefully slow given the setbacks other Reds have had while recovering from their oblique injuries. "He is able to maintain his arm strength and range of motion," manager Bryan Price said. "However, not to the point yet where we would clear him to get up on the mound and start throwing [bullpen sessions]. We really want to focus on making sure the soreness is gone."
