Cincinnati Reds relief pitcher Manny Parra will be placed on the 15-day disabled list due to a left elbow strain, according to MLB.com. Parra, who has a 4.00 ERA and a 1.22 WHIP this season, will be out until at least Aug. 4 as he recovers.
