Chris Snyder announced his retirement from professional baseball on Sunday. Snyder had been playing at the Rangers Triple-A Affiliate in Round Rock, where he was 5-for-21 (.238) in his first seven games. The 33-year-old backstop wraps up his big league career hitting .224/.328/.382 with 77 homers and 298 RBI in 715 games across 10 seasons.
