Chicago White Sox third baseman Conor Gillaspie was traded to the Los Angeles Angels on Friday, according to MLB.com. Gillaspie had been designated for assignment Sunday but could see regular playing time for as long as third baseman David Freese is on the disabled list due to a hand injury.
