Chad Durbin told Adam Kilgore of the Washington Post that he'll "shop around" if he doesn't make the Nationals' Opening Day roster. Durbin's minor league deal with the Nats includes an opt-out clause. There's a chance it could be rendered irrelevant, as he's making a pretty solid case to claim a bullpen spot. After tossing two shutout innings Wednesday against the Braves, the 34-year-old right-hander has a 2.38 ERA and 9/2 K/BB ratio over 11 1/3 innings this spring.
