Casper Wells has elected free agency. The 28-year-old outfielder had a rough go of it in 2013, slashing just .126/.186/.147 over 102 plate appearances between three different teams. He's still talented enough that there should be interested teams willing to let him compete for a reserve outfielder role in spring training.
