Cardinals have transferred Walden to the 60-day DL on Monday.

Walden, who has been on the DL since April 3, will miss more time as he recovers from a Grade 2 lat strain. Walden has only pitched 10.1 innings between 2015 and 2016 because of injuries, so don't expect much for Walden even if he does come back this season.
