Cain (hamstring) is scheduled to throw a bullpen session Sunday, Connor Letourneau of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Cain, who's been sidelined since June 14 with a right hamstring strain, threw a bullpen session this past week and is now set to complete another one. Pending any setbacks, the 31-year-old could begin a rehab assignment next week and then return to the Giants' rotation before July.
